THE IMPACT OF MOTIVATION ON THE PRODUCTIVITY OF WORKER OF  DEVELOPMENT EXCHANGE CENTRE BAUCHI (A CASE STUDY OF NIGERIA EXCHANGE CENTRE BAUCHI)

This research project is an exploratory attempt to study and analyze the impacts of motivation on the productivity of workers of Development Exchange centre in Bauchi as a case study the purpose of this research work is to discuss in a most objective way how motivation actually induce workers to positively respond to their job. The view of workers were gathered through questionnaire distributed to eliat appropriate information. In regard to that the findings of this study include among other the following, that also discovered that if all the motivational tools are used, then by leading to increase in performance, which is the main aim of every organization the study also reveals that a conducive environment would go along way to boost the morale of the employees. In the end, it was recommended that organization should use motivation as a form of encouraging worker in other to achieve their goals. Performance of employees should be assessed so as to put them through in any area they are lacking. It is also recommended that employees should either go on the job courses or general through seminar or short courses as this will develop than to perform well.

Motivation is a state that energizes, activates, mow encouragements, and directs or channel behavior toward goals. This means that motivation is the general term used to describe the entire class of drives, desires, need, wishes and similar forces.
    Therefore, it is central or crucial as far as management is concerned. It serve as a stimulant to the attainment of organizational object uses or success.
    A well motivated workforce serves as an assets to achievement of organizations like textiles in Kaduna. Araw a textile used to motivate their employees before they stopped. This led to the partial operation of the organization in 2003.
    Motivation of workers in every organization leads to increase in productivity. As, such the management o any organization always consider motivation as an important task in order to improve productivity of it’s workers.
