Find out some of the reason people go to schools

1. More Money in it for You

To a certain extent, money does matter and going to college will increase your earnings and allow you to be financially secure.

Nobody wants to have a cap when discussing potentially the amount they can earn but unfortunately if your highest degree is a high school diploma, then there are not a whole lot of opportunities to have a luxurious lifestyle.

2. To exhibit commitment and become educated

After completing college, your knowledge increases in every aspect. It is possible to put a price on education (tuition), but not on knowledge. Finishing college allows you to be introduced to multiple subjects of all course work and gives you a different perspective of how to think and view the world.

Receiving that college diploma exhibits commitment and that is what many jobs are looking for when hiring a possible candidate. Some candidates can have tons of experience and an outstanding resume, but the candidate that received the college diploma would be favored because the degree speaks for its self.

3. If not college then where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Attending college gives a person a certain amount of direction that a person otherwise does not have. Many people get stumped when the question arises of “where do you see yourself in 5 years?” When attending college, a student can answer that question with a detailed response and have an actual vision of their life 5 years from now. Without college, that question is difficult to answer because it leaves a person to think about their future but with no set direction or focus, so the response is usually “I don’t know.”

4. To find out what you really want to do with your life......

Going to college is not only for a financial investment, but it is also structured in allowing you to specialize in a designated field. Find out what your really have a passion about and what is it that you really want to do. There are many different fields of majors out there and also career schools that let you specialize in a talent or a certain skill you have.

5. To have a higher status in life

Saying that “I finished college” means something. With a college completion rate of 50 to 60 percent, graduating college stands for a lot and is something distinguishable to add as an achievement. Not everybody graduates college, so the people that do, carry an elite status among society.
